Camp Millionaire is a summer program for 9-14 year olds that teaches about making, managing and multiplying money. We use a proven, innovative curriculum that imparts money management principles, and more importantly, explores, develops and reshapes young attitudes about money.

Our focus is how to grow up financially independent, but our overall mission is showing kids how they can reach their dreams. We empower kids by giving them the knowledge that they are fully in charge of creating their own lives, and that includes how much money they want to have when they grow up.

The camp schedule involves four days of instruction with games and activities, followed by a Friday field trip to a local business, a stock brokerage, real estate firm and a bank.

All courses are taught by licensed educators and trainers, applying accelerated learning techniques that break down complicated financial concepts into understandable information by using a variety of interactive games, and activities, and other fun processes.

A little history
The first Money Camp (called Camp Millionaire in Canada) was held in 2002 for kids in California. Its founders figured out how to build financial literacy programs in a way that was relevant, effective, and most importantly, fun. Soon adults were also asking for such training. To date, the program has been taught to over 2,000 kids, teens, and adults in the USA.

Jorge Ramos, a private wealth consultant at BMO Harris Private Banking, brought Camp Millionaire to Canada in 2008 and for the first time, the camp is being offered to Canadian kids and teens.
